What arbitration action would be taken for not paying credit card payment

For not paying credit card payments for more than 6 month and when the credit card is defaulted. Bank agent mentioned that they would file arbitrary case against me. And also if i could not able to pay in the specified period, my credit score would be not recovered for three years.. could you please guide me to approach this issue?
