rendt payment issue during covid 19 crisis
I am writing for my friend who is settled in Kerala. He is working at Lulu Mall in Edapally. For the past 3 months he was in his native Thiruvalla due to Covid 19 and lockdown. Right now, the landlord of the apartment where he is staying temporarily in Edapally is asking for rent, which he did not even ask for the past 3 months. Is there any sought of Legal way to deal with it? I have heard about Section 108 (e) and Disaster Management Act, 2005. With regards to any, can I have a positive deal with this?
