My grandfather, grandmother, and father have passed away. My mother is alive, and we are two brothers and one sister. I have one uncle who is alive and another uncle who has passed away, leaving behind one son. In addition, my grandfather has four daughters, all of whom are alive. We are in the process of preparing the Pedhinama (legal heir certificate). Could you please clarify who should be included in the Pedhinama? How long does it usually take for a police inaction writ petition related to a land matter to be disposed of? I filed a writ on 28th February in Calcutta High Court because someone is obstructing my construction, but there still seems to be no progress. I mistakenly gave my case to a new advocate who does not have much experience. He took ₹25,000 for filing and hearing, ₹13,700 as court fee based on property valuation (no receipt given), and ₹3,000 for sending a notice. I am now confused whether I am being misled or if the court naturally takes this much time. Any guidance would be very helpful.
