It depends on a number of factors . You may or may not have to give any alimony.

I m living in Bangalore but wife and daughter (2yrs) lived with my parents in my hometown. Relationship between me and my wife is not good from last 2 years. You can say there is no more trust between us and failure to discharge matrimonial love and life. Her behavior and attitude were changed since last 2 years. So I stopped talking to her. In my opinion it was better to be silent rather than arguing every day. Now she started threatening my parents about domestic violence and dowry case. My daughter was debarred from attending exams and forced to readmission in first year B.Des by NMIMS, School of Design - owing to low attendance. Her attendence was calculated wrongly and also, she attended the classes but she was marked absent. She lost one year of her college. My daughter is a brilliant student who stood 46th in the entrance. And scored 71% in first semester. Can we file a lawsuit against the college in high court?

Desertion of husband

Hi.. I am writing this behalf of my dearest friend. She is very much depressed. We need your suggestions. It's been 2 years of her marriage life and she having 1 and half year baby. Her husband was working in USA in H1B visa.Like every family they also had some misunderstandings and fights in those 2 years.By the by we all know it's actually very common for newly wedded couples to have some fights and then patch up.But when she gave birth to her baby, her mil visits to USA and stayed with them for six months. Her mil always tried to pull her in fuss and create unnecessary problems between her and hubby. Her hubby also listen to his mom's words. Everytime she go behind her hubby and convince him eventhough mistake is not hers. She returned to India with baby along with mil last year for her baby's head tonsuring. Now the problem is her hubby completely abandoned her and child after leaving his place. He not at all picking her phone calls and if he take her call, he hurt her with abusive words and then terminate the call. She was completely in shock about her hubby's sudden change in his behavior, as there was no problem between her and hubby when she travelled from USA.. Since it's been nearly 11 months, still now he didn't yet talk or initiate her visa for her return to his place. He also blocked her in WhatsApp and not coming to any communication. She have lodged a police complaint regarding his desertion. But even after getting summoned neither her hubby or his parents didn't came in person to PS.They threatened her if she moves further they will proceed for the divorce and asked her to withdraw the complaint. Now she had withdrawn it for the sake of her baby.As she was in dependent visa in those 2 years, she was now having career break. Now her hubby sending a small amount every month after her multiple emails to send some money for her and baby's expenses. All her gold and her academic certificates are in hubby's house. She is a only daughter to her parents.By seeing her situation her parents became ill.Her mother suffering from Chronic kidney disease and soon going to undergo dialysis. My friend has no other support and she was the only responsibility to take care of her child. Her parents tried to solve the problems by taking her and child to hubby's home in Chennai. But his parents have locked the house and hidden somewhere near by, by knowing her arrival by one of the relative. She asked about this to her husband through email. He said to leave and return to her home town and further he lied that his parents were out of town for three more weeks. She trust his words and came back to her home town with her baby. But later she came to know they were hidden and stayed in nearby house for 3 days and came back to their home once they get to know that she have travelled back to her hometown. Now my friend also having health issues due to this problems. As she was a Fresher due to her career break, she has applied for a job in a startup company with very low salary. But she don't want her mil to enjoy her absence, as she was the main reason behind all these dramas and she was enjoying wealthy life by getting huge amount from her son every month. But my friend was now facing financial issues. She was trying again to patch up with her hubby through elders, who was common relative for both the family. From them she get to Know that her hubby and his family were coming with some conditions like, she should provide written statements that she will not go for legal proceedings and she should not open her mouth at any cause once she join her hubby. Now she is very much confused, after all the harrasments from hubby and his family, whether she still needs to do all this for the sake of her baby. But she was worried how a man could be like this by without seeing or talking to his own child for long months. She don't know for what she still need to hold up this relationship. She is in the confusion whether to look for the job in her home town. If so her hubby and mil will feel relax for her absence.Or to go legally to fight for her rights(But she knows very well it will lead to divorce which she don't want to do for the sake of baby) Or to give written statements as they ask and patch up with hubby? But she fears if she gave written statement, hubby side will take advantage and will further harass her. She needs to come out of this situation. What is your point of view? What she can do? Please give your suggestions..
