Forged signature without consent in ROC public records

you can file a complaint case or register an FIR against the culprits in certain section of IPC and in this process including investigation/enquiry and trail it will take 1 year or 2 year depending upon the court. I advise firstly you should file the complaint case in court because in india police will take a lot of time for investigation specially in your matter because this case is related to the putting the forged signatures. My suggestion for you file the complaint case and before filing the complaint case obtain that document on which your brother has put your false signatures and after that deliver that document to the private handwriting expert in your area and found the report regarding the false signatures then, you can file the co[plaint case in court. this process will be better for you because when you file the case in court the aforesaid question will be raised whether the signature on the document is your signature or some body else have signed therefore, it will be better for you to complete all the formalities and filed the case along with the forged document and reports given by the handwriting expert. thank you.
