Does husband need to pay alimony or maintenance if wife force for seperation

Hindu Marriage: My wife is well qualified (M.tech) and worked as associte professor. It's been 4 years we get married but she hardly stayed with me around 6 months(half of time she spent in mother place). after 6 months of my marriage she gets involved in fight with my mother for silly reason and she left me for 1.5 years and she insisted to have seperate family. after 1.5 years I barrowed a house on loan and we stayed together for 3 months(in 3 months also she run away from hous 4-5 times for

sorry for late reply I was unwell. Well, you will have to take few precautions as an early step to avoid paying maintenance to your wife who might trap you and your well in several false cases.
