My name is Pooja V Kammath. My daughter was born at the comforts of our home, a concept relatively new to me. I had my firstborn at the hospital without any complications. But when I was carrying Alicia, she was over a few kg’s and I was advised bed rest. My friend suggested that I should choose home birth. She said it would be convenient and wouldn’t be a problem for low-risk mothers like myself. The whole thing went well with the support of my family and the home nurse we hired.

At the hospital, you receive the birth certificate form and fill the form after the baby is born and check birth certificate status online if you have the name decided. But in the case of home birth, we were clueless on how to go about it. We needed to approach someone who would help figure things out, as experiences with government offices are not only time consuming but also very irritating.

My husband came across MyAdvo’s ad on Instagram and we called in for an appointment. Their customer representative, Miss Anshika heard us out and took us through the whole process. We had to go to a hospital for documenting medical records of Alicia’s health check-up. Other than that, MyAdvo took care of talking it out with the concerned authorities and that was it. Everything from payment to the consultation was smooth, reliable, and transparent.
