Pradyuman Thakur Murder: Class XI Student Detained for Killing

In the gruesome murder of a 7-year old Pradyuman in Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon CBI detained a class XI student under section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code and section 25 of the Arms Act.

Earlier the school bus conductor was arrested for the murder of the innocent boy but now the CBI has detained the class XI student stating that he has murdered Pradyuman for postponing the exams. The Detention has been confirmed by the father but he alleges a conspiracy behind the framing and detention of his son studying in class XI.

Prior to the detention, the boy was being interrogated by the CBI for an entire day in their headquarters. As per the father of the detained boy, his son was the first person to spot pradyuman after the incident.

The reason behind the murder is said to be that the boy wanted to postpone the exams and he thought with the news of murder the school will declare a holiday. The father of the detained boy has accused the CBI of torturing his son and has further said that he was not allowed to meet his son.

On the contrary the official of CBI has given a statement saying that they have material evidence against the detained boy and also he has confessed to the murder of Pradyuman. The CBI will file the charge sheet on 18 November, 2017.

The detained boy being a minor will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board today afternoon, where it will decided by the court whether to treat him as a minor or major under the Juvenile Justice (Amendment) Act, 2016.
