The infamous ‘Aarushi talwar’ murder case shocked everyone. The Allahabad High Court is all set to decide the future and fate of Aarushi’s parents after the pronouncement of the judgement today.

In the appeal filed by the Talwar Couple, the High Court bench consisting Justice BK Narayana  and AK Mishra reversed its judgement.

Rajesh and Nupur Talwar- parents of Aarushi are already in Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail are serving life imprisonment after the Special Central Bureau of Investigation convicted them for the horrific murder of their daughter Aarushi and house help Hemraj in November, 2013.

Aarushi was murdered on May 16, 2008 in her bedroom in their flat in Noida. The police suspected the house help-Hemraj but his dead body was soon discovered from the terrace of the house. The Suspicion then shifted to Rajesh Talwar and police came up with a theory that the Rajesh had seen both in an objectionable position and thus murdered both.To which talwar couple said that police is just cooking a story to cover the whole incident.

The High Court during the arguments focused on motive behind the murder; activity of internet router at the night of murder; missing keys of aarushi’s room and forensics of hemraj’s pillowcase.

The case after a lot of outrage was transferred to CBI from Uttar Pradesh Police. The CBI suspected Rajesh Talwar’s assistant Krishna along with Rajkumar Sharma and Vijay Mandal- domestic servants of Talwars but this theory ended soon.

CBI transferred the case to a new team in 2009 which announced Rajesh Talwar as sole suspect but said that they cannot charge his as there was lack of evidence against him. However, the talwar said the suspicion was baseless and later a federal court also rejected CBI’s suspicion as there was not adequate evidence and ordered further investigation of Talwar Couple.

Later on 25 November, 2013 CBI Judge Shyam Lal in its judgement stated that both Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are guilty of murder as well as destruction of evidence.
