The solution of your legal problem at this stage is easy. You should get an affidavit of your father declaring that his correct name is "Mohammed Abdul Majid" and not the printed name (that crept in various documents by mistake). Thereafter, a small and simple advertisement should be placed about the changed name in local newspaper. After these steps have been taken you and your father are entitled to the correction of the name in various documents by applying to the concerned authorities. Best wishes!
