What is the next step after sending formal notice(email)?

Hi, My salary was put on hold without my knowledge and I was asked to resign for the reason I don't know yet without any notice. At first HR was about to issue me F&F settlement but 1 week later when I didn't get any response, I asked them on this matter but then HR denied to pay me for the job I've done for them. I have sent them a formal email 10 days back. Kindly suggest the next step. Regards, Sumit Singh Mumbai +91 8770857017

Dear Sumit, Well to start with, a legal notice is required to be sent to them. It has become a common thing for small corporates to withhold salaries on one flimsy ground or the other. Thereafter, should they fail to pay you, many options are available to you; 1. Raise a labour dispute (if you are not in a supervisory position) 2. File a recovery suit claiming salary with interest. 3. If F&F is more than 1 lac, you can even approach the National Company Law Tribunal to wind up the company (If your employer is a company and your outstanding is more than 1 lac). Feel free to connect in case you require further clarification

I told my Manager three months ago about my intention to leave, but he asked me not to leave for some time as his Ratings get affected due to attrition.
