Advocate Hemant Thadhani

Hemant is an Advocate and a Patent Attorney. He heads the IP practice of Crawford Bayley & Co. and handles a wide spectrum of commercial disputes, predominantly patents, trademarks, copyright, design, cyber law, data protection and privacy law, internet related law, media and entertainment law, etc. before the Bombay High Court and other forums in India. He has to his credit immense experience of handling high profile clients, both national and international, across a wide range of business sectors, such as technology, telecommunication, media, pharmaceuticals, FMCG etc., to name a few. Academically, he holds a Master degree in Intellectual Property & Technology Law from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, which is offered in joint collaboration with the United Nations’ World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO); and a Bachelor degree in Science and Law from National Law University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Hemant has earned significant experience and knowledge in Intellectual Property and Technology Law by implementing the comprehensive learning of international and comparative approach gained at his Master's Program as also by participating in several renowned international conferences. His experience coupled with academic knowledge renders him an in-depth knowledge on the subject, as well as equips him with specialized and business strategy oriented approach in the field.
