Not so happy with the delays with my issue. They took longer time than they promised. But they apologised for it, and gave me a coupon as their way of saying sorry. So all in all, not bad.
My settlement with Samsung regarding a defective product was much better than I expected, all thanks to MyAdvo!
I’m happy with the service. Not too bad. The lawyer I was assigned knew hos job and also the team is really helpful. It was good, thanks!
I was duped by a consultant and these people helped me sort things out. They don’t reply to your messages but pick up your calls. So, all good.
I had a new air conditioner installed a week back. The next day, the cooling vent started to leak. The service guys came over everytime I complained but the problem was never fixed. I requested a new AC but the seller refused. Through MyAdvo I met a good lawyer who helped me fight my case in the consumer court. I was duly refunded for my losses.
I had a bad experience with my insurance company. After a minor car accident which cost me 2 lakh worth of repairs, the company denied my claim saying I didn’t have a proper cause. The folks at MyAdvo connected me with an expert insurance lawyer who helped me file a complaint before the IRDAI. The insurance company had to give in and I was sorted.
My dad had consulted a doctor about his skin problem, Eczema. After the first round of medication, my dad’s condition got worse. On confrontation, we came to know that the doctor was an understudy. We immediately filed a case in the consumer court with the help of a lawyer, assigned to us in time by MyAdvo. He helped fight our case expertly.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. I bought a smartphone which had a 1 year warranty to it. After about 8 months, it started giving problems. I asked the service centre to replace it but they said they would change a part instead. But even after changing the part, it was not working properly. I had to go to the service centre every month and they would change a part everytime. Now it has been a year and they are saying if I get a new part changed, I would have to pay for it since the phone is not covered in warranty. What should i do?

A warranty period means that the defective product will be replaced or repaired within a specified time. Since your product was found defective during the warranty period, the seller was supposed to replace or completely repair it. If they were unable to resolve the problem and it is due to their faulty service that the warranty period expired but the defect in the product could not be fixed, it is their duty to replace or repair it free of cost for you. If they deny doing this, you can send a legal notice asking for repair or replacement of the smartphone. In case the matter is not resolved by sending the legal notice, you can file a consumer complaint.
