what process do i have to go through to complete necessary registration to do cross border ecommerce from China to India?

We are an e-commerce company based in Shanghai, China. We wish to start selling online in India, but not set up a branch in India yet. What are the necessary registrations the company needs to do, and how do we go about it?

For cross-border e-commerce from China to India first of all you have to see that your particular business model is Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999 compliant and if it is goods that you intend to bring into India then such goods should be allowed to be imported into India under Foreign Trade Policy of India and as per the procedures under Customs Laws. If these preliminary requirements are fulfilled then you would be required to register a corporate entity preferabley either in the form of a Private Limited Company or Limited Liability Partnership, obtain digital signatures of the Partners/Directors, Import Export Code, Permanent Account Number and Goods and Services Tax registration (under the e-commerce category) of the Company. These are the most basic registration the entity would require to start the business.

I am an Engineer. But I am interested for a new startup in the field of Health care by establishing a new " Health Clinic " in my city by appointing contractual Doctors, with a diagnosis centre and a pharmacy, all at the same place in my own property. Is it legally possible for me to get a license as I am not from a medical background ? OR Is there any alternate way of making it possible in future ?
