This is my response to you: 1. Send a legal notice; 2. If he does not reply then file a suit for recovery; 3. Also file a police complaint to the nearest police station; 4. You can also claim for the monetary and mental loss suffered by you.

Director resignation from LLP

I’m currently in USA for personal commitments. I’m a director in LLP registered company. I want to quit that. Should I be present in India to quit the company? Other 2 directors of the company are not accepting my resignation and threatening me that they will dissolve the company .

Builder is refusing to refund my invested amount in cash!

I have invested an amount of rs. 20 lacs with a local builder in his firm with below conditions: 1. The builder will return my invested amount with a certain profit of rs. 8 lacs within one year. 2. The builder will include me as his firm partner in the land registry which he is going to buy. 3. The builder and I have signed a MOU and partnership deed for the same. He faked the actual price of the land and valued the land just double of its real price. Now after 1 yr I'm asking him to refund my money with profit, he prepared a partnership dissolution and asking me to sign it and giving me six months post dated cheques. I'm not sure whether or not I should sign the partnership dissolution just by getting those pdcs. Please provide me best possible solution to recover my money. PS : I have all original documents (MOU, Land registry) but I dont want to go for civil suit as it takes years.
