2. Amendment of section I.- In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Abducted Persons (Recovery and Restoration) Act, 1949 (45 of 1949), for the words and figures "31st day of May, 1955", the words and figures "30th day of November, 1956", shall be substituted.
