My co. made me work for 1.5 months, they offered me the job through mail but they never gave me offer letter in papers. I left my job as I was not satisfied with the environment. They paid my 10 days salary through cheque bt not releasing the rest.

For non payment of your accrued salary, you can approach Payment of Wages Authority established by the Government under Payment of Wages Act of 1936. U/S 15 (3) you can file application complaining about non payment of wages. However, as per the Act of 1936, State is required to appoint appropriate authority for adjudication of such claims.

You are supposed to have sufficient evidence with you before proceeding. If you have video recording or audio recording of the incidence then it will be easy to prove. You can complaint the higher authorities about the incidence. If it is not required its better not to go against a police officer.

Offer letter says " You will be on probation period of 6 months from DOJ. During this period your employment may be terminated by company at any time by giving 7 day's notice" When i sent a resignation letter they demand 1 months notice.what can i do?

Employer can terminate services of an employee during probation on ground of dissatisfactory services. However, if the language employed in the termination order casts any stigma then certainly it can be challenged before the court of law. In case if there is no stigma casted upon you and the termination order is simpliciter in nature then you cannot challenge it.

I have a residence permit for skilled workers in Norway. My wife had applied for family immigration but it was denied because her age is less than 24, which is assumed to be forced marriage by Norwegian Immigration (UDI). How to appeal against decision??

I have worked with the company for 2 months. For the first month, they paid 100% salary but I had to leave in the second month due to the bad behavior of the management. Now they're making my performance issue and not only paying 50% of the payout.

The course of action will depend on the act under which your organization is registered. the first step would be to send a notice to your HR, if we do not receive a suitable response then the notice will need to be followed up by a civil suit in the apropriate court which will depend on the nature of your organization meaning that ether we will have to approach the designated tribunal or go to a civil court.

I was working abroad. New company hired me for 18 months contract. But forced me to resign after two months. I need legal remedy. Can i go to court and claim compensation for the balance 16 months contract. If yes, how? If no, what is the remedy?

There are two legal remedies available to the disqualified director depending upon the peculiar circumstances of the case. One remedy is to approach the NCLT but for that the proceedings for restoration of the company because of which the disqualification is attracted ( I presume the disqualification is attracted because of the removal of the name of the company from the ROC in recent drive) also needs to be initiated. The second remedy is approaching the concerned High Court, which whether can be done in a given case or not will depend on factual matrix and the reasons for attracting the disqualification.
