What is the meaning of this information? Is the complainant required to remain present before the consumer forum on listing date?

charged me twice for an non-existant order and are not giving me my money back I placed an order from Lenovo’s website on Dec 24th, order #4290126426. It was for a tablet $862.30 and accessory $51.73. I received an email with a confirmation but it said that if the order was placed with a canadian debit card (which it was), order will not go through – it needs to be a credit card. Since it was Saturday (Christmas Eve), I could not contact the sales about this issue, so using their online service I canceled the order (same day) with the intention of calling them Monday and placing an order using my credit card. Monday I called and I made a new order, using the same card since the sales person said that Visa Debit is acceptable. That was order #4290126923, placed on Monday Dec 26th. I called them then right back, realizing that my order made over the phone did not include a free gift that it should ($50 worth of gift). Sales person apologized and went ahead and canceled the phone order (4290126923) and placed another one so that I can have the free gift. In all of the confirmation emails it said that Lenovo does not charge their customers until they are ready to ship the item. Same day, I checked my bank account and saw that I had $862.30 twice! As well as the $51.73, once. But, on the statement it said Dec 28th. Regardless, money was not in my account since I paid using a VISA debit. I called Lenovo, still same day, Monday Dec 26th, and they kept reassuring me that the charges are not going to be made and they kept blaming my bank, that my bank is having an authorization hold or something or other. So Monday ended up with Lenovo telling me not to worry, the money will be back in my account by the 28th. On Thursday, Dec 29th, money is still not in my account so I called them again, first thing in the morning. Again, Lenovo agent is trying to convince me that they do not have my money and keeps insisting to call my bank. So we did, and we had a conference call with my bank, where my bank clearly said that either I can do an investigation with the bank that can take time, or do the fastest way, which would be for Lenovo to just reimburse me. That was exactly was I was trying to tell the Lenovo agent!! Just give me my money back! So, after that, the lenovo agent reassured me that she will elevate my case and talk to the manager about this issue and will call me back. Mind you, all of this calls are taking an hour or more. She called me back around noon, telling me that they have it sorted out and that the money should be in my account, I checked and it was not there so she said that it should be for sure by the end of the day since they told her its less then 24h. She also said to email her by the end of the day to let her know that I received the money. End of the day, my money is not there so I email her – this is what she send back: The review department has already left for today, those funds should apply back to Credit card. The Mgr reversed the charges back to the debit CC. Today, is Dec 30th, Lenovo is closed and my money is not back… It is the end of the month and I do not have enough funds to pay my rent.. This is my nightmare experience for Christmas and New Year. I really want my money back. After this torture I should probably get that product for free. Although, I am sad to say that I will never again purchase anything from lenovo. That is very unfortunate as the product is good, but the service is from hell. Please help me in some way. I do not know what else to do but ask for legal help. They have approximately $1800 that they are holding and not giving back to me! P.S. I have all the order cancelation confirmations as well.. Nightmare.. please help

I had purchased a 400 sq ft shop from Yashodhan Enterprises from Nallasopara District Palghar and shop located at Umroli, District Palghar, State Maharashtra. The total project is of 50 Acar land and more than 200 building. before 2 years I made chq payment of 750000rs, till date no construction and builder dont want to return money.

I enrolled myself in IIPM college for BBA + MBA Course. I paid 6 Lac Rupees in 2012 for 2 trimesters and taken a 1st-trimester class, The moment I came to know that they are the scam I left college and ask them to refund my complete fee or at least second unattended trimester’s fee. But they completely refused my refund application and they didn’t refund my fees even I didn’t attend 2nd trimester in their college. They are a big scam. Beware of them.

The developer is a well known builder. The project was willfully delayed. There was a building whose construction didn’t start when J had bought my place. My building was completely constructed at that time. The building next to me not only finished construction but was handed over as well. It was in the premium class. We were updated regarding the possession till Oct 2014 that the possession would be in 2014Dec. In 2014Nov to our surprise they send us a new mail that project has been delayed by an year. The present status is that building is complete. They had called us for a fit out. We found few issues which had to be corrected. The builders are now asking us to take the possession and no 2nd visit to my own property would be allowed. I tend to feel that even though I have spent my hard earned cash to make a home, the property does not belong to me. The OC of the property has not been processed. In the meantime govt has made new rules of swach Bharat cess and various other taxes which are directly added to the consumers bill. I am unable to understand that if the delay is at the builders part, due to which the taxes have been added to the cost, why are the consumers bearing it? Forget the capital, I have lost my patience and have been in a lot of pain because of this adultery. Please help me with a good advice.

I made an order of “Vishwakarma Furniture Wooden Home Temple” worth Rs.2699/- on 21st Sep. 2016. It was supposed to reach by 1 Oct 2016. Order ID is OD507129835731045000. It arrived on 1st Oct. and before the delivery confirmation I notified Flipkat and requested for refund as the product was broken from many sides. They assured me that by 8th Oct. Ekart will pick up the product. Everyday I got the massege, “Today your item will be picked up by so and so pick-up boy” and every evening the pick-up get to re-scheduled. On 4th Oct. I called the pick-up boy and he told ok then today evening the item will be picked up. This does not happen. On 9th Oct for Dasherra I was supposed to leave the home so on 8th Oct I called the 2 mobile numbers that was given to me by messages by Ekart. By 3 pm one pick-up boy came and picked the product. When I asked him about the pick-up receipt he told,” now a days we are doing paperless work and all the Ids will be provided to you by mail and SMS”. When I asked him won’t you take the invoice ? He told “No need madam”. After that I never got the tracking Id from Ekart. When I am contacting Flipkart they are asking me the Tracking Id. When I am complaining about the details they are regenating the return issue and after 3-4 days they are giving me the message that ” as per my request, they are cancelling the return request “.

I am a software firm in Mumbai and my client based in Ratlam (MP). We both have a contract to develop extra requirement for a software which I had. about 5 months ago. He did not raise PO and eventually i had raise our Sales Order mentioning the work and payment terms agreed. He refuse to sign and delay the signature. In mean time i have completed all of his requirements after 1 month and till date the work become online and asset of client company. I have made several reminders to qualify the payment but he made disapprove and stating false talks. Need payments from client. Kindly suggest.

From net it is found that Bangalore is beneficial to CKD patients due to its equival climate. Accordingly i requested for extension of my tenure here by 21 months i.e. to my superannuation. I availed a car loan from toyota. due to 2 EMI unpaid they initiated arbitration. I requested to come and collect the EMI to collection agent. But they have not come and made my third EMI kept on pending. They intiated the arbitration. I attended the arbitration proceeding on 03.10.2015 and promise to pay pending EMI before 30.10.2015. And subsequently paid. today all EMI paid except some legal charges. 10.03.16 I received the award by arbitrator to pay the balance with 18% interest w.e.f. 29.09.15.

For the marriage of my sister my father booked a tent house in rs 3 lakh and gave advance of rs 10 thousand to the tent house. After two weeks the owner of tent house asked for 1 lakh advance. My father have him an account payee cheque of rs 1 lakh. After a week marriage got cancelled (before 1 month of marriage date) and my father asked owner of the tent house to return the money. It’s been 1 year and 6 months since the owner is only giving next date and not the money.
